Welcome, my name is George M. Hardas, Sydney Spinal Care Specialist Chiropractor, my training and clinical experience at St George Private Hospital & Medical Complex using advanced techniques to treat the spine having established success in treating headaches/migraines, vertigo (dizziness), neck and shoulder pain as well as back pain and sciatica.

At St George Private Hospital I have treated patients in Obstetrics, as well as treating Medical specialists in Orthopaedics, Gynaecology and Anaesthetics. I am now completing with the Orthopaedics Department at St George Public Hospital in conjuction with the Faculty of Medicine at the University of New South Wales a Clinical Research Trial which is a first for a Chiropractor with the Medical department of a Public Hospital in Australia.

I am also a proud supporter of the "Starlight Children's Foundation." Since being formed as an Australian children’s charity in 1988, Starlight has brightened the lives of seriously ill and hospitalised children, and their families, throughout Australia. Starlight programs are delivered both in and out of hospital, providing positive distraction and supporting children in their needing times.

I have also presented to Physiotherapists & Medical practitioners in the diagnosis and treatment of referred shoulder pain at the Orthopaedics Research Institute at St Geore Hospital using the latest techniques. Special Interests

Undergoing clinical research with the Orthopaedics Research Institute at St George Hospital, being a first for a Chiropractor with a major medical hospital.

Regularly attending "Grand Round" Orthopaedic meetings at St George Hospital having access to the most up-to-date clinical education.

Completed a Graduate Certificate in Pain Management from the University of Sydney at Royal North Shore Hospital, the Pain Management course is the first of its kind to be offered in Australasia and some of the first University Courses in Pain Management to be offered worldwide.

Previously I have been a Chiropractor treating BMW Motorsport super tourer racing drivers, also having a keen interest in Formula 1, aware of the massive G-forces applied to the neck of these drivers and how important proper neck function and strength is needed. As a matter of interest in braking and cornering a Formula 1 driver can experience up to 5 g's equivalent to 5 times the force of gravity, in which the head and neck can weigh up to an equivalent of 25 kg instead of 5 kg, with a lateral force on the neck muscles of 245 Newtons compared to 49 Newtons if you are standing still.
